€750,000 Being Invested In Valletta's Christmas Celebrations This Year!

Valletta is going BIG this Christmas!

A total of €750,000 is being invested in Christmas in the Capital 2026, bringing over a month of festive celebrations, entertainment and activities to Malta's capital.

The programme, officially launched by the Valletta Cultural Agency, will feature 300 artists taking part in 25 different events throughout the festive season.

The celebrations will kick off on 25th November with the official lighting of Valletta's Christmas tree and festive decorations, which will feature new designs this year.

But the festivities won't stop at Christmas!

The programme will also include Malta's national New Year's Eve celebrations in Valletta, bringing the festive season to a close with one of the capital's biggest annual events.

With hundreds of artists involved and a packed calendar of activities, the initiative aims to transform Valletta into a festive destination for families, residents and visitors alike.
