Hospice Malta has received a €16,967 donation collected during this year’s ‘A Night at the Palace’ concert in September. The event brought together hundreds of people whose contributions helped support the organisation’s work with terminal patients and their families.

The donation was presented by Dr Lydia Abela, the Prime Minister’s wife, while visiting Hospice Malta’s St Michael complex in Santa Venera.

During her visit, Dr Abela met patients receiving palliative care from the organisation and spoke about the importance of assisting both patients and their relatives during difficult times.

She described Hospice Malta’s work as a vital source of support for families facing challenging circumstances, praising their employees and volunteers for their dedication.

Dr Abela also thanked everyone who contributed to the fundraising initiative, saying the ‘A Night at the Palace concert’ was a very important initiative for her.
