Esplora Interactive Science Centre has launched its new 2026–2027 educational programme, introducing interactive experiences, science shows and hands-on activities designed to make learning more engaging and relevant to the real world.

The programme will allow students to explore topics including creativity, artificial intelligence, engineering, biodiversity and Malta’s natural environment, with a strong focus on STEAM education and future skills.

New experiences include activities exploring Malta’s relationship with water and Maltese Wildlife, which introduces younger students to the country’s protected wildlife and the importance of safeguarding its natural heritage.

The programme also includes Unlocking STEAM, featuring escape-room-style challenges, and STEAM Connect, which gives students the opportunity to meet STEAM researchers and professionals working in Malta.

Esplora is also expanding its outreach programme, bringing selected STEAM experiences directly to schools across Malta and Gozo.

Education Minister Clifton Grima said the programme forms part of a wider national investment in children and young people’s skills and aspirations.
