Epic launches a new era of child-safe connectivity with the Kids Watch Mobile Plan

Parents in Malta now have a safer, more age-appropriate way to keep young children connected. The Epic Kids Watch Mobile Plan is designed as the most secure first step into the digital world.

With online safety concerns increasing and national discussions highlighting the challenges children face, Epic is taking a digital responsibility-first approach. The new plan gives children aged 6–10 a safe introduction to connectivity, protected from the open internet, social media, and unsolicited contact.

The Epic Kids Watch Mobile Plan offers children a simple, confident sense of independence while keeping parents fully in control. Only parent - approved contacts can call or message, supported by GPS location tracking and a dedicated parent-control app. The watch includes no open internet and no social media access, helping children stay focused, safe, and connected only to the people who matter.

Recent research highlights the urgency of safer digital solutions for children and public concern continues to grow around young children’s exposure to digital risks.
 • 42.9% of children aged 7–10 reported receiving inappropriate images.
 • 50.9% confirmed experiences of online abuse.
