European Parliament President Roberta Metsola briefly stepped away from politics to experience life in the cockpit, this time in a flight simulator.
The experience took place in collaboration with the European Cockpit Association, where Metsola joined professional pilots in a flight simulator and took part in a simulated take-off and landing.
The session offered her a behind-the-scenes look at the training, precision and decision-making required to operate an aircraft.
