European Parliament President Roberta Metsola has been named one of the influential figures on Corriere della Sera’s Women of the Year list for 2025.
The Italian newspaper highlighted Metsola’s growing international profile, praising her “remarkable diplomatic skills” and describing her as the pro-European face of the European Union abroad. The profile also noted her firm and consistent support for Kyiv.
Corriere della Sera pointed to her ability to navigate the political landscape in Brussels, where she has worked closely with both the European Commission and the European Council.
Other women on the list were Dua Lipa, Taylor Swift, Catherine Princess of Wales, Ursula von Der Leyen, Katy Perry, Greta Thunberg and Rosalia.
