EP President Roberta Metsola Meets PN Leader Alex Borg

Roberta Metsola, President of the European Parliament, met with Alex Borg, leader of the Nationalist Party, for a meeting during which they discussed current affairs in Malta and the country’s political future.

In a post shared on Facebook, Metsola said the discussion focused on key decisions that need to be taken to improve the quality of life for both Maltese citizens and residents of Gozo.

She emphasised the importance of addressing national priorities and ensuring that policies continue to strengthen opportunities and wellbeing across the country.

Borg also highlighted that the meeting was one of several the two have held over the years. He noted that they frequently meet during summits organised by the European People's Party abroad, as well as during regular meetings held in Malta.
