Employment In Malta Rises By 3.4% When Compared To Same Period In 2025

The National Statistics Office released findings showing that in the second quarter of 2026, 339,935 people in Malta were in employment.
This translated to an increase of 3.4% when compared to the same period in 2025.
These results come from the Labour Force Survey, with NSO stating that the objective of the survey is to increase awareness on the labour market of the country, along with clarifying working conditions.
