The annual Elementi Sajfin 2026 event, organised by the Xgħajra Local Council, will once again bring together residents, families, and tourists for an evening filled with music, dance, art, and local talent on Saturday, 18 July 2026, at Milord, Xgħajra.

This event is also being made possible thanks to financial support provided through a scheme issued by the Local Government Division, through which Local Councils are benefiting from funding to organise cultural and social initiatives that continue to strengthen community life in their localities.

The details were announced by the Minister for Local Government and Public Works, Alison Zerafa Civelli, together with the Mayor of Xgħajra Local Council, Neil Attard.

Over the past five years, Elementi Sajfin has continued to grow, attracting a wide audience of families, residents, and tourists with a programme that offers a unique seaside experience.

The event has become an important annual fixture in the locality's cultural calendar, providing the public with the opportunity to gather in an open-air setting and enjoy an experience that combines entertainment, creativity, and local talent.

Minister Alison Zerafa Civelli said that events such as Elementi Sajfin demonstrate the important role Local Councils play in creating spaces where communities can come together, share experiences, and enjoy high-quality initiatives within their own localities. She stressed that the Government remains committed to strengthening the role of Local Councils as the level of government closest to citizens by providing them with the support they need to deliver initiatives that improve the quality of life in their communities.

The Minister argued that "Elementi Sajfin is a clear example of how Local Councils continue to be a driving force in the life of our communities. Through initiatives like this, we are not only creating opportunities for families to enjoy entertainment and spend time together, but we are also recognising and promoting local talent, culture, and the unique identity of our localities," concluded Minister Zerafa Civelli.

The Mayor of the Xgħajra Local Council, Neil Attard, explained that Elementi Sajfin is the result of the Council's ongoing efforts to organise events that bring the community together while promoting local talent and creativity. He added that this year's edition will feature live music performances, dance displays, and a variety of other family-friendly activities.

In addition to the artistic programme, visitors will also be able to enjoy a classic and special-interest car exhibition showcasing a collection of vehicles, as well as a selection of food and beverages, all set against the unique atmosphere of the seaside.

Elementi Sajfin 2026 will take place from 6:30 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. at Milord, Xgħajra, and admission is free of charge.
