Edmond Cuschieri Announces Candidature With PN For General Election

Edmond Cuschieri has announced his candidature for the next General Election on the Partit Nazzjonalista’s ticket in the 8th District, following approval by the party’s Executive Committee.

In a Facebook post, Cuschieri said the decision “filled my heart with gratitude and humility,” adding that he is “deeply honoured that this great and historic party believed in me, asked me to step forward, and welcomed me as a candidate.”

He described the trust shown in him as something that “moves me profoundly” and said it strengthens his determination “to serve with integrity, commitment, and courage.”

Cuschieri also linked his candidature to what he described as the PN’s transformation, saying it is “a party that has truly opened its doors to all those who are willing to work selflessly for our beloved Malta.”

Addressing voters, he promised that if given their confidence, he would “give my very best to each and every one of you, without favour or distinction,” guided by “fairness, honesty, and a genuine love for our country and its people.”

“This is not about titles or ambition,” Cuschieri concluded. “This is about service. This is about Malta; and this is about building a future worthy of our children.”
