€508,225 Raised For The Nationalist Party In Alex Borg’s First Marathon As Leader

Newly elected Nationalist Party (PN) leader Alex Borg has announced that 1% of the funds raised during his first fundraising marathon as party leader will be donated to two NGOs supporting mental health.
The initiative coincides with Malta’s Mental Health Awareness Week, reflecting Borg’s commitment to using his political platform to promote social causes beyond party politics.
In a message of gratitude, Borg thanked supporters across Malta and Gozo for their contributions, saying, “As a party, yes, we need help but I believe that in moments of success like today, we can also do our small part to help those in need.”
Borg added that the gesture symbolises unity and compassion, describing it as “a moment for the nation to come together.”
The PN leader’s first marathon under his leadership raised €508,225, marking a strong start to his tenure and signalling renewed energy within the party.
