€45 Million Agreement For MCAST Staff To Be Signed, Says PM Abela

Prime Minister Robert Abela announced that a €45 million agreement for MCAST lecturers and technicians will be signed tomorrow. Speaking at a political event in Mosta under the theme “Il-Ġid għall-Maltin”, Abela described the deal as the most significant of its kind at MCAST and a major investment in both workers and youth.
He linked the agreement to the government’s wider economic success, highlighting other recent initiatives such as annual €500 grants for parents of students in further education, a €10,000 housing grant over 10 years, and tax exemptions on property purchases. Abela also cited public transport subsidies, increased children’s allowances and pensions, and the largest tax cut in Malta’s history.
