€15K Worth Of Cannabis Found During Qawra Shop Raid & Arrest

A 39 year old man from Ethiopia was arrested by the Malta Police Force for drug trafficking.
Police conducted a search in a shop in Triq il-Maskli, il-Qawra, where drug trafficking was allegedly taking place.
A search yielded just about a kilo and a half of cannabis. The street value of the drug would have amounted to around €15,000. A separate €64,500 in cash were also found during the search.
An inquiry has been opened and investigations are still ongoing. The man is set to be taken to court in the coming days.
