According to British reports, a drunk plane passenger caused chaos on an EasyJet flight to Greece, even forcing the plane to emergency land in Munich, as he tried to storm the cockpit mid-flight.

During a scheduled 4-hour flight on an Airbus A320, turbulence caused a drunk passenger, reportedly intoxicated on whiskey, to start disturbing others.

The man shouted that the captain was “useless” and attempted to enter the cockpit. Video footage shared on TikTok captures staff restraining him on the ground.

According to the Sun, the intoxicated passenger managed to break the plane’s intercom system whilst also attempting to open the emergency exit door mid-flight.

The man’s behavior forced the aircraft to make an emergency landing in Munich, one hour and 44 minutes into the flight. German police boarded the plane and escorted him off.

The other passengers had to disembark the plane and received hotel and meal accommodations overnight before the flight departed Munich to Greece the following afternoon.
