Love Island Malta Season 4 contestant Drinu has confirmed that he and Amy have gone their separate ways following the end of the reality show's latest season.

Speaking on Magic Malta this morning, Drinu confirmed the breakup but said he did not wish to comment further out of respect for Amy and her current situation.

"I don't want to give a lot of comments due to the situation she's in right now," he said, adding that he would prefer to keep the matter private.

Reflecting on his time in the villa, Drinu described the experience as "very cool", saying he enjoyed every moment of being part of the show.

He also revealed that he believes he and Amy deserved a place in the Season 4 final, despite narrowly missing out on a spot among the finalists.
