Discussions On New Collective Agreement For Academics At UM Closed

Robert Abela took to social media to announce that discussions surrounding the new collective agreement for University of Malta academic staff are now closed.
He explained that the next step requires the representative of the workers to vote on the agreement.
Following this, Abela claimed, “we’ll seal the best agreement of investment in those who prepare our students to then take opportunities that are being created in our country.”
The Prime Minister emphasised how even in a time of international struggles and uncertainty, the government continues to prepare for the impact while also working on what was previously planned to still be implemented.
