Families are invited to explore the Grand Harbour Open Day, taking place on Thursday 19 March from 10am until 4pm at the historic Power Station site in Marsa.

Organised by the Grand Harbour Regeneration Corporation in collaboration with the Ministry for the Environment, Energy and Public Cleanliness, the event promises a day of learning, fun and discovery for all ages.

Visitors will have the unique opportunity to explore the historic Power Station site and gain insight into the Grand Harbour Revival Plan.

Children can enjoy a variety of activities, including games, challenges and interactive zones, while participating in the “Grand Harbour Passport” experience.

This initiative encourages young visitors to engage with the history, heritage and future of the area in an educational and entertaining way.

The Open Day also offers access to normally restricted areas, such as the Power Station tunnel, providing a rare behind-the-scenes experience.

Attendees can learn about maritime heritage, local professions and the ongoing regeneration of one of Malta’s most iconic harbours.

This family-friendly event combines heritage, innovation and community engagement, making it the perfect way to spend a day discovering Malta’s maritime past and future. More information is available at ghrc.gov.mt/revival
