Destiny Looks Back on Hosting Malta Eurovision 2026

In a heartfelt post, Destiny Chukunyere, who co-hosted the Malta Eurovision Song Contest 2026, reflected on the journey of it all, thanking everyone who made it so special.
She reflected on the hard work that goes into the work, from the production team, to the costumes and stage work, and all the artists and their determination.
Of particular importance were her co-hosts, Gaia Cauchi and Keane Cutajar, whom she said, without them, it would have been impossible to do what they managed to do.
‘Thank you from the bottom of my heart for the endless love, care, and unwavering support you gave me throughout this journey’, she wrote in her message to her co-hosts.
‘You made me feel safe, uplifted, and never alone, both on and off stage. Your kindness, generosity, and genuine friendship mean more to me than words can say.’
‘Sharing this experience with you was truly special, and I couldn’t have wished for better souls or more loving co-hosts by my side. Without you, I wouldn’t have been able to get through the sleepless nights, the stress, the tears, and the whirlwind of emotions I could have never imagined. Your presence, strength, and love carried me through it all, and I will forever be grateful.’
