Deputy Prime Minister Ian Borg Meets With Canadian Politician Rob Oliphant

Ian Borg, Malta’s Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Foreign Affairs, met with Rob Oliphant.
Oliphant is the Parliamentary Secretary to the Canadian Minister for Foreign Affairs.
In a post to his social media, the Canadian politician shared an image from the meeting with Borg, stating that “Canada and Malta are aligned on the importance of strengthening partnerships and investment across the Commonwealth, as the organisation seeks to deepen its commercial and political engagement with Member States.”
He expressed his great appreciation for Malta’s leadership as the current Chair of the Commonwealth Ministerial Action Group.
