Deceased Body Retrieved From Ġnejna Bay Waters

The Malta Police Force are currently investigating the discovery of a body at Ġnejna Bay.
At around 17:30 last night, the police were informed of the discovery of a body along the shoreline of Ġnejna Bay.
The body was reportedly retrieved by Civil Protection Malta before the case was handed over to the police.
It is suspected that the body is that of a woman, but official identification is pending as the body was found in an advanced state of decomposition.
Magistrate Dr Philip Galea LL.D was informed of the case and proceeded to assign a number of experts to help with the investigation.
Police investigations are still underway.
