“Daughter Of A Cleaner”: ADPD’s Sandra Gauci Dedicates Political Run To Father

Speaking during the University debate, ADPD Chairperson Sandra Gauci said that she was there to represent people who think that because they don’t know anybody they don’t have a chance in politics.
She said that her father and Prime Minister Robert Abela’s father were in the same class, but whereas the latter became the President of Malta, hers became a cleaner.
She said that did not diminish him in any way, and that he still raised three kids, including Sandra herself.
‘My father may have worked to clean other people’s rubbish. But I am entering politics so I can clean parliament from the corruption’, she said, earning an applause.
