Dates of Hamrun Spartans’ UEFA Conference League Matches Revealed

UEFA have officially confirmed the dates for Ħamrun Spartans’ UEFA Conference League group stage matches after last week’s unforgettable qualification night.

The Spartans will kick off their European journey away to Polish side Jagiellonia on 2nd October, before returning home for a special night on 23rd October against Lausanne Sport.

The most awaited fixture against Ukrainian giants Shakhtar Donetsk will be played on the 11th December in Ta’ Qali.

The Maltese champions are set for away fixtures in Ireland and Turkey, where they will face Shamrock Rovers on 18 December and Samsunspor on 6 November.

Meanwhile, history will be made on 27 November when Ħamrun host Gibraltar’s Lincoln Red Imps in what will be the first-ever European main stage clash between clubs from micro-states.

Last Thursday, Ħamrun secured a famous 3-2 aggregate victory over RFS in the play-off round, booking their place in the group stages of a major European competition for the very first time.
