‘It’s a mundane Tuesday for many, but it’s Daphne’s birthday’, wrote The Daphne Caruana Galizia Foundation.
‘A reminder to continue fighting for justice and pushing for change, today and every day.’
Daphne would have turned 61 years old toady, but her life was cut short after she was assassinated back in 2017 through a car bomb outside her home in Bidnija.
She was known for her investigative and anti-corruption journalism, and rose to international acclaim for her investigation into the Panama Papers.
