Culture Minister Wishes Eid Mubarak To Malta's Muslim Community

Local
Culture Minister Owen Bonnici wished an Eid Mubarak to Malta’s Muslim community and all the practicing Muslims.
‘We are a united Maltese and Gozitan people and we are proud of it’, said Bonnici.
Eid al-Fitr is one of the two main festivals in Islam and marks the end of Ramadan, a month dedicated to fasting, prayer and reflection observed by Muslims worldwide.
As Eid is celebrated, the phrase “Eid Mubarak” is widely used in messages, conversations and online posts.
It is an Arabic expression meaning “Blessed Eid” or “Happy Eid,” used as a greeting during major Islamic festivals. In both Eid al-Fitr and Eid al-Adha, the greeting conveys goodwill, respect and shared joy between individuals and communities.
