CPD Rescue Dog Trapped Under Parked Vehicle

Civil Protection Malta recently carried out an animal rescue in Żabbar, where a dog found himself trapped underneath a parked vehicle.
The team rescued him using specialised lifting bags, which allowed them to raise the car and save the dog without causing any injury.
The animal was described as “distressed” but was thankfully safely excavated and handed over to Animal Welfare for further care.
No details were given regarding whether this dog is a stray, or someone’s lost pet.
