CPD BRING STRUCTURE FIRE IN XEWKIJA UNDER CONTROL

Early Tuesday morning, Civil Protection Malta responded to reports of smoke emanating from an industrial premises in Xewkija, Gozo. The alert came in just after 6:00 a.m., prompting an immediate dispatch of firefighters from Fire Stations 6 and 7.

Upon arrival, crews worked swiftly to bring the fire under control. Fortunately, no injuries were reported.

In a statement on Facebook, Civil Protection Malta extended its gratitude to The Malta Police Force and the Emergency Department at Gozo General Hospital for their support during the operation.

The Civil Protection Department’s timely response and coordination with local authorities ensured that the incident was contained without further complications.
