Courtesy Visit By Turkish Ambassador To Armed Forces Of Malta

Yesterday morning, Commander of Armed Forces of Malta, Brigadier Clinton O’Neill received an office call from Ambassador of the Republic of Türkiye, His Excellency Barin Kayaoglu, Mr Fethi Etem and a contingent of Officers and cadets who disembarked in Malta during a port visit by the Turkish Naval Vessel Sancaktar.
During the office call, both Ambassador Kayaoglu and Brigadier O’Neill exchanged views on the good relations established between the Maltese and Turkish Armed Forces whilst discussing further areas of potential cooperation.
Whilst in Malta, the Turkish contingent shall visit the Turkish Cemetery to pay their respects.
