Corinthia Hotel Employee Saves Mother And Daughter From Rough Seas

A potentially tragic incident was narrowly avoided earlier this month at St George’s Bay after a mother and her daughter were swept into the sea during severe weather conditions.
Brian Micallef, who was on duty at the Corinthia Hotel St George’s Bay at the time, became aware of the incident and recognised the seriousness of the situation.
Without waiting for instructions, and despite the dangerous sea conditions, he entered the water to assist. Brian helped bring both individuals back to shore and remained on site until emergency responders arrived.
The hotel praised Brain's actions on their social media, referring to him as a "Corinthia Hero."
Authorities continue to urge the public to exercise caution during adverse weather conditions, particularly along exposed coastal areas.
