Committee To Review Fireworks Laws In Malta To Be Launched

Speaking on the first podcast episode of ‘Bedingfield Straightforward’, Minister for Home Affairs and Security Glenn Bedingfield announced that he will be launching a new committee to review and update laws pertaining to fireworks in Malta.
The committee, which will be headed by former minister Stefan Zrinzo Azzopardi, will be meeting and discussing with pyro-technicians and all those enthusiasts who work with the traditional craft.
Bedingfield emphasised that this is not an attempt to take away a tradition, but rather, to give a regulatory framework that is modern and fit for purpose so everyone, from the creators to the general public, can enjoy it safely.
