Comino Visitor Numbers Down By 68% In One Year

During the announcement of Budget 2026, Minister Clyde Caruana revealed that in Comino, visitor numbers had been reduced by 68% when comparing the busiest days in August last year with the same period this year.
He said that the plans submitted to the Planning Authority to further improve the island’s facilities, in harmony with Comino’s natural beauty, will continue to make the island an important link in the chain that positions Malta as a quality destination.
