According to local weather reports, temperatures are set to feel like 36°C as August enters its final week.
We are in for a few cloudy days before we get a very hot and sunny weekend, with temperatures climbing to a yellow warning for locals on the island.
‘The maximum temperature is expected to be between 33°C and 35°C on Wednesday 19th, Saturday 22nd, Sunday 23rd and Tuesday 25th August’, the Meteorological Office explains.
With next week being the last week of August, many are ready to close this summer chapter. But it’s definitely not over yet, and we will still have some intense bouts of heat to get through.
