Clocks Moved Forward Last Night: We’re In Summer Time!

Local
Clocks moved forward by one hour last night, marking the official start of summer time.
While many people may feel the effects of losing an hour of sleep, the change also brings something many people crave: longer daylight hours in the evening!
This annual adjustment, known as Daylight Saving Time, is designed to make better use of natural light during the warmer months.
With sunsets now occurring later, people can enjoy more time outdoors after work or school, whether for exercise, socialising, or simply relaxing.
The time change took place this morning at 2am, and even though we still have some wintery weather left for this upcoming week, the countdown for summer has officially begun!
