Cleaning Operations In Rabat Due To Thick Hail Blankets

Cleaning operations were underway over the weekend following the hail storm that hit the Maltese islands between Friday and Saturday night.
The Cleaning Division, Civil Protection Department, and the Malta Police Force joined forces to remove hail for the streets and make it safe for resident and drivers once again.
In a post on their Facebook, Is-Servizz Pubbliku thanked all the workers who assisted in the clean-up operations and once again appealed to drivers to drive carefully if they cannot avoid the affected areas.
Malta is in store for more unstable weather this week, with strong winds and heavy rainfall forecasted, especially over today and tomorrow.
