Civil Protection Respond To Garage Fire In Birkirkara

Yesterday afternoon, Civil Protection Malta firefighters from Stations 2 and 11 responded to a fire involving an internal combustion engine (ICE) vehicle inside a semi-basement garage in Birkirkara.
As a precaution, residents living directly above the garage, along with occupants of nearby residences, were temporarily evacuated while firefighters brought the situation under control.
No injuries were reported, with the fire being successfully extinguished.
Officers from the Malta Police Force District 9 and a Mater Dei Hospital medical team also assisted.
