Civil Protection Respond To 3 Incidents In Just 40 Minutes

Minister for Home Affairs Glenn Bedingfield thanked the Civil Protection Department for responding to three separate incidents yesterday in just 40 minutes.
Incidents broke out in Birkirkara, Qawra and Gżira, with officials being dispatched to all sites and making surethe fires were brought under control.
They assisted around 13 people and saved dogs in their efforts as Malta battles extreme heat.
‘The Maltese people are proud of you’, wrote Bedingfield. ‘During the year, Civil Protection have an average of 19 call everyday.’
