Civil Protection Cut Through Garage Door To Extinguish Fire In St Venera

Last Sunday, Civil Protection Department firefighters from Stations 2 and 4 responded to a structure fire in Santa Venera.
Upon arrival, smoke was spotted coming from a garage forming part of a residential building. Firefighters promptly cut through the garage door to gain access before locating and extinguishing the fire.
Ventilation procedures were subsequently carried out, with Triq Ċikku Portainer temporarily closed to traffic to allow operations to be conducted safely.
No injuries were reported, with CPD extending gratitude to the Mater Dei Hospital Department medical team and the Malta Police Force for their assistance.
