Civil Protection Battle Grass Fire In Victoria, Gozo

Earlier today, Civil Protection Malta firefighters from Fire Station 6 responded to a large grass fire in the Ta’ Gelmus area, Victoria, Gozo.
CPD crews worked swiftly to contain and tackle the blaze, preventing it from spreading further, whilst ensuring the safety of nearby areas.
No injuries were reported, with CPD thanking the Malta Police Force and the Emergency Department at Gozo General Hospital for the assistance.
‘We remind the public to remain vigilant, especially during hot and dry conditions, and to report any signs of fire immediately by calling 112.’
