Christmas in the Park Draws Thousands to Salina National Park

The Christmas in the Park event, organised by the Ministry for the Environment, Energy and Public Cleanliness, once again proved to be a festive highlight, attracting thousands of visitors to Salina National Park over the past ten days.
The 2025 edition introduced several new features aimed at creating a more immersive experience for families and visitors of all ages. These included an illuminated walkway through the park, an enchanted forest enhanced with lighting effects, and a wide range of children’s activities. The programme was complemented by live performances from local artists, bands and choirs, adding to the lively atmosphere throughout the event.
Visitors were able to engage with interactive activities and information stands hosted by various organisations, including Saving Our Blue, Ambjent Malta, Project Green, Wasteserv, the Energy and Water Agency, the Environment and Resources Authority, and the Water Services Corporation, among others.
