Chocolate-Made Lion King Scene To Feature at Ħamrun Chocolate Festival

Ħamrun is set to turn into a chocolate lover’s paradise on October 17th, as the Chocolate Festival returns for its 16th edition.

This year’s event promises plenty of new attractions and activities. One of the main highlights will be a scene from Disney’s ‘The Lion King’ recreated entirely in chocolate, created by local chocolatiers Tiziano Cassar and Chris Zammit.

The festival will also feature live music, singers, bands, performances and entertainment for all ages, with around 90 participants expected to showcase their chocolate-related products and creations.

Organised by Ħamrun Local Council, with support from the Ministry for Local Government and Public Works and the Malta Tourism Authority, the festival will highlight a rarer-seen side of Maltese creative talents.
