CHAMBER CONCERT ORCHESTRA EVENT WITH FRANCESCO MAZZEI SET FOR VILLA CORINTHIA

An elegant evening of music and fine dining is set to take place at Villa Corinthia, Corinthia Palace Malta in Attard on Sunday 29th March at 5PM, bringing together a chamber concert orchestra performance and a curated culinary experience.

The event will feature a 70 minute concert led by a ten-piece orchestra, with music curated by Sarah Spiteri and performances by sopranos Valentina Cassar Bezzina, Francesca Aquilina, Carol Ciantar and Nicole Vassallo, alongside Brian Cefai, Jester Rosales, Albert Buttigieg and Riccardo Bianchi.

Guests will also enjoy a 90 minute reception hosted by celebrity chef Francesco Mazzei, including free flowing prosecco, wines and non alcoholic drinks, accompanied by finger food.

The programme promises a deeply emotional musical journey, moving from the solemnity of Lent and the drama of the Passion to the hope and joy of Easter. Divided into two parts, the concert begins with themes of reflection, compassion and sorrow, before transitioning into a second half centred on light, gratitude and celebration.

The repertoire includes works by Karl Jenkins, Andrew Lloyd Webber, Ennio Morricone, Mozart, Bach, Elgar, Fauré, John Rutter, William Byrd and Handel, offering a blend of sacred and contemporary classical music that aims to create moments of stillness, beauty and uplifting joy.

Set within the refined surroundings of Villa Corinthia, the event is expected to deliver a memorable evening combining music, atmosphere and gastronomy.
