"Chadwick Lakes Turned Into A Garbage Dump," Reports Malta Ranger Unit

The Malta Ranger Unit have reported that the area surrounding Chadwick lakes has “turned into a garbage dump.”

The offender discarded large piles of rubbish and electronic appliances in an area which is “supposed to be a habitat where flora and fauna thrive.”

The Malta Ranger Unit stated that they reported the crime to the Environment and Resources Authority, and are urging anyone who may know who did this to come forward with information.

They also called for authorities to install CCTV cameras in places of this nature to deter crimes like this from happening again.

“Our Rangers will monitor the area and if the offender tries again, he will be reported to the Authorities with hefty fines to be expected,” assured the MRU after explaining that bulky waste can be disposed of at WasteServe rather than in nature.
