Caritas Malta Raise Over €200,000 For Gaza

In just ten weeks, the people of Malta and Gozo have come together to raise €228,581.98 in aid of those suffering in Gaza.

The fundraising campaign was coordinated by Caritas Malta at the request of the Bishops of Malta and Gozo.

The collected funds have been passed on to Caritas Internationalis, the global Caritas network which has been providing crucial humanitarian assistance in Gaza since 2023.

According to Caritas Internationalis, its work has already supported more than 1.7 million people in Gaza through a range of vital services, including food, shelter and dignified housing, water, sanitation and hygiene, financial assistance, and psychosocial support.

The Maltese and Gozitan contribution forms part of this ongoing global effort, helping to deliver relief and hope to communities devastated by conflict.
