Can’t Vote On The 30th? Early Voting Date Arrangements Announced

The early voting date arrangements for those who cannot vote on the 30th of May for the 2026 general election have officially been announced.
The electoral commission issued a statement informing those voters who are set to be abroad or undergoing medical interventions that they can do so on Saturday, 23rd of May.
This early voting declaration is to be made up until the 22nd of May, starting from the 1st of May at 0800hrs up until noon of 22nd May.
They can do so on www.electoral.gov.mt/advanced-mt or at the Electoral Commission Office in the Naxxar Voting Counting Hall in the Ex-Trade Fair Grounds or the offices in Triq ta’ Wara s-Sur, Rabat, Gozo.
Times are as follows from May 1st, 2206: From 8am until 1pm, then from 3pm till 8pm. On the 22nd of May, the 8am to noon option will only be available. Every applicant needs to present their Identity Card.
The Electoral Commission advises voters who are eligible to vote on 23 May that they must have their voting document with them. Those registered in Malta are to vote at the Vote Counting Complex in Naxxar, while voters registered in Gozo are to vote at the Government Experimental Farm, Triq l-Imġarr, Xewkija.
