Burlesque Performer Shows Distance From Church To Show Spot

In a video shared to social media, burlesque performer Undine LaVerve showed the distance between the spot wherein she performed at the church which raised the concerns about ongoing shows.
‘To clarify - when we've performed at Cafe Society, it was in front of the establishment before 11 pm and inside after 11 pm’, she wrote.
‘The church is all the way down the road with a whole other bar in between… With 28 churches in 0.6 Square km city of Valletta it's hard to perform physically far from a church.’
‘And both Burlesque and Drag are respectable art forms that have a place in Valletta, both today and historically. In Strait street dancers performed both in and out doors decades ago! Showgirls helped fight the war too!’
‘As performers we don't do anything inappropriate and we never ever intended to upset the church or eber dance in front of it. We're just artists and not whatever we have been portrayed by those who have never seen the shows. We create choreography, make our costumes, act the character, dance and artistically disrobe to a degree - never naked!’
