The British High Commission celebrated “pastizzi” being added to The Oxford English Dictionary by enjoying a fresh one while enjoying the beautiful views of Valletta.
The British High Commission are an organisation who offer services to British nationals living in and visiting Malta, along with providing access to UK government services in Malta.
“We are thrilled to see “pastizz”—officially added to The Oxford English Dictionary in its January update,” they stated, “celebrating Malta’s culinary and linguistic contributions to global culture and the shared heritage between our nations.
