Local talent show Brillanti returns tonight with a new edition dedicated to younger performers, as BRILLANTI JUNIORS gives children up to the age of 13 the opportunity to showcase their artistic abilities.

Now in its sixth year, Brillanti continues to provide a platform for Maltese and Gozitan talent, allowing performers to develop their skills and gain exposure through television.

The first edition of BRILLANTI JUNIORS will air on Thursday, 1 October, introducing audiences to a new group of young contestants hoping to progress through the competition.

This year’s judging panel brings together personalities from different areas of the entertainment industry, including Matt Black, known for his distinctive character and stage presence, Miriana Conte, recognised for her energy and performance style, and Dianne Pilkington, whose experience spans West End productions, theatre, film, television and music.

The contestants competing for a place in the quarter-finals are Amy Farrugia, Arielle Zammit, Giulia Zammit, Naielle Grixti, Lena Muscat, Jade Schembri, Hayley Vella, Chanel Abela Camilleri, Benji Herrera Rolè, Zaya Darmanin and Emily Fava.

Creator, producer and presenter Joseph Chetcuti said the new edition will bring memorable moments, emotions and surprises as the young performers take to the stage.

BRILLANTI JUNIORS airs every Thursday, with viewers following the journey of the next generation of local talent.
