Brazilian Woman Injured In Traffic Accident In San Ġwann

Today, at around 0830hrs, police were informed of a traffic accident in Triq Reġjonali, San Ġwann.
Preliminary investigations showed that a crash between a Nissan Juke driven by a 46 year old man resident of Swieqi and a Peugeot Tweet motorcycle driven by a 32 year old Brazilian woman resident of San Ġwann.
A medical team was called on site and took the motorcyclist to Mater Dei Hospital. She was later certified as having suffered grievous injuries.
