Boy With Autism Publishes Poem Collection: ‘A Glimpse Into Giuseppi’s World'

Giuseppi Camilleri, a young boy with autism, has published his first collection of poems in A Glimpse into Giuseppi’s World.
The book brings together 20 of his writings, offering readers an insight into his thoughts, feelings, and perspective on the world.
Through his poetry, Giuseppi communicates in a way that goes beyond words, sharing emotions and experiences that might otherwise remain hidden.
The launch of the book was attended by the Minister for Gozo and Planning, Clint Camilleri, and Marie-Louise Coleiro Preca, Chairperson of The Malta Trust Foundation.
Minister Camilleri praised the initiative, noting that Giuseppi’s poems provide a window into his mind and help society understand and support young people with different abilities.
Marie-Louise Coleiro Preca said that Giuseppi’s work demonstrates how silence can speak and reminded attendees that every child deserves to have their voice heard, even if it is expressed in a different way.
Copies of A Glimpse into Giuseppi’s World are available through The Malta Trust Foundation by contacting info@maltatrustfoundation.org.
