Black Friday Is 17 Days Away: And A Website Just Launched To Help You Keep Track Of All The Deals

The Parliamentary Secretary for Social Dialogue, together with the Chamber of Small and Medium Enterprises, has launched a website to support Maltese businesses during the Black Friday shopping period.

The campaign aims to promote discounts offered by local shops through the online platform www.blackfridaymalta.eu, where consumers can easily find deals from various Maltese stores and service providers in one place.

Andy Ellul, Parliamentary Secretary for Social Dialogue, emphasised that the government’s goal is to continue giving concrete support to small and medium-sized enterprises so they can grow and remain competitive in the local market.

He noted that Black Friday has become a global event, presenting an opportunity for Maltese businesses to attract more customers.

“We are encouraging families to choose products and services from Maltese businesses,” Ellul stated.

The initiative complements measures announced in the 2026 Budget, including guaranteed stability in energy bills, financing schemes for business expansion and investment in efficient technologies, and continuous training to enhance workers’ skills.

Marcel Mizzi, representing the Chamber of SMEs, said the platform provides a simple and effective tool for both buyers and sellers, making it easier for consumers to find all local Black Friday offers and shop details in one place.
