Benna Reports Lower Milk Production Due To Extreme Heat This Summer

Benna has released a statement addressing the low milk production of milk this summer due to the country’s extreme heat.

“Malta Dairy Products Ltd would like to inform its customers that the exceptionally high temperatures experienced this summer have placed significant heat stress on the local dairy herd,” they explained.”

This led to a “temporary reduction in fresh milk production,” continued Benna.

They stated that although lower milk volumes are normal during the summer months, “this year the impact has been more pronounced, and as a result, availability of some Benna products may occasionally be limited.”

Benna shared that they are closely working with their dairy farmers and production teams to try and ensure a milk supply.

“We sincerely thank our customers for their patience, understanding and continued support of Benna and Malta’s local dairy sector,” they concluded.
